Aquatic Ballet (Ballet Aquatique originally - in French)

This is a very intuitive and process based painting, using my favourite wet on wet method. I wanted to create something light and organic, with intertwining strands, like a ballet under water. I was in spring mode, hence the very spring inspired colour palette. It's done almost entirely with ink, very diluted for the most part. In some areas, I got my face right down next to the canvas to blow the ink in the direction it needed to go. For me it portrays hope, joy, grace and harmony.
